I absolutely love these. The color payoff is very intense and awesome. Can be used all over the body a variety of uses. The texture is lovely as well. I am currently using these as a background color for facepainting

This was the first time buying the Lumiere eye shadow. It blends well as all Ben Nye eyeshadows do, but the shimmer wasn't as prominent as I thought it would be.
Never disappointed in Ben Nye eye shadows. Rich color, smooth finish, beautiful quality control every time!!
The swatches in the pictures are brush swatches, done with an ELF Eyeshadow ''C'' Brush. From left to right, they are: Azalea, Cherry Red, Sun Yellow, and Chartreuse. The second photo is Golden Apricot.
Azalea is a very pigmented blue-red verging on magenta, depending on the lighting conditions. Azalea took one swipe to apply as seen. It applies well on the eyes, with both pigmentation and blendability. (Five stars.)
Sun Yellow is a true yellow, which applied very well on the eyes: good pigmentation, especially for a yellow. It took one swipe to apply as seen. (Five stars.)
Chartreuse is a yellow-leaning green, though it is not bright enough to be a true chartreuse, in my opinion. It took a little bit of building when applied to the eye to achieve full opacity, but worked fine once on. I recommend a denser packing brush if you wish to speed application. Chartreuse took two swipes to apply as seen. (Four stars.)
Golden Apricot is a peach base with a strong gold shimmer throughout. One might call it a duochrome, or something in the genre, though the gold shows all over rather than as a color shifting flash. Applies perfectly fine to the eyes. Golden Apricot took two swipes to apply as seen. (Five stars.)
Cherry Red is the only one of these shadows I do not recommend. Unlike every other Lumiere shadow I have, this one applies oddly matte on the eyes, with the shine not picking up at all. Furthermore, it has pigmentation/application issues and was difficult to build up. Cherry Red took three swipes to apply as seen. (Two stars.)
