Once Dermacolor Camouflage Creme is fixed using Fixing Powder and Fixing Spray from Dermacolor it will be waterproof and protects the skin from harmful environmental influences. Dermacolor Camouflage Creme is available in an extensive range of shades and those are intermixable which gives the make-up a natural appearance when applied correctly. Perfect for color correction.
Admittedly, it took a couple of tries to match my odd skin tone, which is yellowish with ever-so-slight pink tones and very ruddy with lots of rosacea. Unfortunately, when I tried to order a refill of my beloved Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Creme (which I know from experience has total, stay-on coverage that lasts all day), my longtime color had been discontinued and there was no exact equivalent. The women at Camera Ready were extremely helpful. Since we were doing this long distance (me in Baltimore, they in Dallas), they asked me to email them photos of my old Kryolan color and photos of my face -- in sunlight and office light. The first Kryolan color they sent me was quite a bit too light. I sent it back, with photos of it on my face (one streak) showing how too light it was for my skin tone, and they suggested another color in the line. When it arrived in my mailbox, I was thrilled to discover that it matched my skin tone perfectly, even a little bit better than the old, discontinued color had. My only regrets are that they didn't tell me that taking one swipe from the jar just to show them it was the wrong color meant I couldn't get a refund or even a full credit on that purchase, and that there was a smaller, less expensive "test" size I could have purchased early on for only $7 until I found the right shade. Now I know - and you do, too. But other than that, the service was excellent, the beauty specialists and the order department were extremely helpful, professional and courteous, and my experience proves that you can find a great match with their products no matter where you live in the country!
To light and does not meet quality expectations.
But it doesn’t really work to cover my port wine stain. I just use it underneath my other cover up. Still looking for that perfect cover up.
I really like the idea of the cteam concealer,,in the samples,,,because you can commit to a bigger size,once you find your shade!!!! Great product!
